About The Team

The People Team’s mission is to enable talent across the organization to do their best work while innovating for the future. Our team is global in nature and focuses on exceptional client service while being genuine, authentic, and empathetic to employees and their needs across the organization. In this role, you have the unique ability to drive collaborative engagement to build trusted solutions for employees, teams, and business units. The global HRBP team leads many efforts including partnering with managers across the organization on people management and development, organizational design and workforce planning, as well as employee relations, performance management, advocating for employees, and keeping a pulse on morale and evolution of company culture.

About You

The Senior HRBP will be a key member of the People Team. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role will have global responsibility for supporting people and culture to improve organizational talent, drive engagement, and enable the organization to deliver transformational outcomes. This role requires an HRBP with a rich blend of experience, across a range of companies at varied stages of growth and maturity; an HRBP who knows what great looks like in a scaled organization.

  • You have 8+ years as an HRBP or related field in dynamic tech / media environments.
  • You have a proven understanding of multiple Human Resource subject areas including organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, talent development, compensation, diversity and inclusion, and federal, state, and local employment laws (global employment law knowledge is a plus)
  • You have excellent interpersonal, communication and coaching skills with an ability to develop trusting relationships and influence at all levels within the organization to achieve business results
  • You possess the ability to influence team members and form relationships at all levels of the organization
  • You have a strong desire to help others and intellectual curiosity about people and organization issues
  • You have excellent judgment and problem-solving capabilities; as well as the ability to make thoughtful decisions independently in a complex, ambiguous, fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
  • You love to take on hard problems and create order out of uncertainty. You thrive in environments where there is a high-degree of ambiguity and things are prone to rapid change. You are a steady rock when the seas of change can be choppy
  • You have exceptional advising, coaching and facilitation skills
  • You thrive in environments where you can use your super powers of strong problem solving and critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgment
  • You have proven experience handling confidential and critical information. You exercise discretion and show good judgment; honesty, integrity, and trust-building behaviors in all dealings–a critical and required element in this role
  • You operate independently, but prefer to succeed collectively with resourceful people who challenge you to do your best work
  • You have a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Communications or other related field

  • Work closely with globally dispersed business leaders and team members to understand their business goals and objectives and provide strategic HR support and consultation that will lead to the successful achievement of those business results
