Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to support the 777-8F program located in Everett, WA. A successful candidate in this role will have passion, creativity, and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency. They will also have a strong desire to be out in the factory, interacting with mechanics and electricians, and directly supporting the production system. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level and Senior Manufacturing Engineers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Leads Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development, complex producibility studies and production/tooling philosophies.
• Refines, validates, coordinates and implements conceptual designs and manages the program architecture for build.
• Develops manufacturing plans and oversees plan optimization.
• Conducts complex producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
• Resolves complex technical problems.
• Serves as a project manager to ensure that contract requirements, specifications, design criteria and schedule performance are integrated and maintained.
• Leads advanced design solutions and supports research of new product or business opportunities.
• Deploys company Lean Enterprise analysis methods.
• Documents and communicates producibility best practices.

Work Authorization:

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering course of study.
• Experience working in an engineering discipline.
• 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 7 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to collaborate with both domestic and global engineering workforce as well as manufacturing team members on the factory floor.

Typical Education/Experience:

• Mid-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+2 years' related work experience).
• Senior: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' realted work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
