About the Job:

The Creative Director, Global Brand Creative, is responsible for driving a cohesive vision for the future of Taco Bell both domestically and globally. Their passion for creative thinking goes beyond any one medium or genre and they have their pulse on current industry trends. They are an experienced people leader who will coach, inspire and mentor teams to direct work that is leading in culture and impactful to the business.

By creating opportunities for individual development, performance management and recognition, they foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and fun. They are responsible for growing a scalable creative department that will execute the creative vision for global brand storytelling across digital, experiential, print, and video mediums. They have a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments, demonstrating the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping their team aligned with key priorities.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Provide creative direction, design and conceptual solutions that result in cohesive messaging and branding that are industry-leading and on brief
  • Develop concepts for campaign launches and product storytelling
  • Develop and lead a team of best-in-class creatives that can execute against the brand strategy, strategically leveraging the strengths of individuals and supplementing with creative partner skill sets
  • Lead multiple creative teams, including reviewing, providing meaningful feedback and approving storytelling, design, motion and photo art direction
  • Oversee and nurture creative and cross-functional team relationships, enabling a healthy and collaborative environment
  • Partner with creative operations to drive and evolve a creative process that is scalable to future growth while ensuring execution against creative briefs, creative review process, and deadlines
  • Drive the mindset of a unified Global Brand Creative team by seeking out and enabling opportunities to share and learn across the team
  • Enable world class creative by strategically leveraging team talent and strengths alongside creative partnerships with external talent
  • Elevate potential roadblocks to VP while proactively providing creative recommendations to solve problems
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, design tools and industry best practices
  • Reports directly to the VP, Global Brand Creative

Is This You?

  • 12+ years of design and creative direction experience
  • 7+ years of leadership experience
  • BA or BFA Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to articulate creative concepts & vision
  • Strong business acumen with the understanding of delivering against multi-billion dollar company brand goals
  • Deep understanding of design principles, visual storytelling, and a keen eye for aesthetic
  • Superior storyteller, ability to sell ideas via strong presentation skills
  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Keynote
