About the Affera Mapping and Ablation System 

The Affera Mapping and Ablation System is an innovative medical technology designed to treat patients with cardiac arrhythmias. The system involves advanced mapping techniques to create detailed images of the heart's electrical activity, helping physicians identify abnormal areas causing arrhythmias. Once identified, the Affera Ablation System delivers targeted energy to disrupt these abnormal signals, restoring normal heart rhythm. 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

• Be a technical representative with firsthand knowledge of capital manufacturing – system and manufacturing process  

• Responsible for capacity and incremental design improvements 

• Responsible for Next Gen Capital System Design to enable feature expansion, system reliability, and cost down, utilizing DRM principles 

• Utilize rigorous DRM approach to manufacturing, design, and field improvements, including post market issue support 

• Conducts research, design, development, and testing of electrical or mechanical hardware  

• Ensures reliability, develops technical specifications for production, analyzes hardware configuration and processing solutions, and tests hardware conformance to specifications; may design new or modify existing products  

 

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience 
   

Preferred Qualifications 

• Expertise in Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM) 

• Knowledge of capital manufacturing – system and manufacturing process 

• Strong technical and problem-solving background
