District Training and Development Coordinator/District Five Organizational Development Office

 

This position will play a key role in supporting the agency's workforce development by planning, delivering and managing training programs that enhance employee skills and performance. They contribute to strategic initiatives through data-driven analysis, project coordination, and facilitation of performance management and employee engagement efforts. Their work ensures effective training delivery, compliance with organizational goals and continuous improvement in agency operations.

Your Specific Responsibilities:

 

• Serve in support of the District's training program to include planning, scheduling, delivery and accurate record keeping. Prepare for and deliver various Florida Department of Transportation training programs through basic Train-the-Trainer sessions and other knowledge sharing opportunities to support Instructor Led Training courses. Disseminate accurate information relating to upcoming training and development opportunities, attend scheduled training providers meetings to determine training needs and availability, develop annual training calendars and coordinate resources to ensure efficient delivery of training in support of the Employee Development Review process. Develop and coordinate training program materials.
• Assist in the implementation of special projects and initiatives related to training, performance management and employee engagement as requested by management.
