Creative Services Intern

This is a paid internship that is part of Heaven Hill's Summer Internship Program (running May-August). The role is an office/hybrid position, with the ideal candidate located in the Greater Louisville area.

What the Role Is

We are looking for a Creative Services Intern to join our in-house Creative Services team within the Heaven Hill Brands Marketing department. Our team provides creative development and production of graphic design, photography and videos in support of our brands' marketing efforts. As a summer intern, you will support our team with project management, digital asset organization, and assignments ranging from e-commerce digital ads to point-of-sale artwork resizes and revisions. You will gain exposure to a variety of brands within our portfolio of spirits and will have the opportunity to learn from experienced members of our Creative Services Department team.

As part of the Heaven Hill Summer Internship Program, you will directly support the organization’s strategic goals through project work and business-critical assignments. We’re committed to providing valuable experience and professional development opportunities for students in our summer internship program. The summer experience consists of networking, intern development sessions & workshops, tours of Heaven Hill facilities, social events and more!

How You Will Spend Your Time?

• Resizing artwork and revising existing layouts
• Basic image editing
• Clipping out photos in Photoshop, e.g., bottle shots
• Potential for project management support, such as keeping status reports updated and assigning tasks to creative team members.
• May include assisting with photography and video production, depending on experience level
• Digital asset management
• Develop and deliver a presentation to the Executive Leadership Team at the end of your internship experience
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Who You Are…

• Currently enrolled junior/senior with a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, Digital Media, Graphic Design or related field.
• Previous internship experience, experience at an ad agency a plus!
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, MacOSX and Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to learn quickly and apply learning to tasks
• Strong organizational skills and resourcefulness
• High attention to detail to ensure all standards and specifications are consistently met
• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage details of multiple projects at once 
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency for completion of tasks and projects
• Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment

Physical Requirements
While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
