SUMMARY
Under the guidance of the Senior Officer of Operations, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Facilities Maintenance and Operations, managing assigned staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Responsible for planning and coordinating custodial and building services, directing labor utilization and scheduling, and supervising maintenance activities across various trades such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and more. The position also includes budget preparation and supervision, contract approval, staff training and development, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Additionally, the role resolves operational issues and maintains expertise in assigned areas to promote the efficient and effective delivery of services.

Oversee the daily operations of Facilities Maintenance and Operations, including the supervision of staff across multiple maintenance areas, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and standards.

Manage and supervise skilled craft maintenance and technical staff in various disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and safety systems, ensuring efficient operations and quality outcomes.

Plan, coordinate, and supervise district-wide custodial and building services, ensuring alignment with district goals and operational needs.

Oversees the management of the district's grounds maintenance and landscaping program.

Assists with the development of energy management initiatives and maintenance and monitoring of energy-using systems and equipment.

Oversee the management of appropriate warehousing and supply inventory.

Develop, implement, and evaluate maintenance goals, objectives, work standards, and policies/procedures to optimize plant operations and ensure effective service delivery.

Oversee labor utilization, work control, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure projects and daily tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
