Acentra is looking for a Program Manager to join our growing team.

Job Summary:  

The role of the Program Manager is to provide managerial oversight, hands-on work, and leadership across the people, budgets, administrative tasks, and processes across multiple projects concurrently. The Program Manager works with the customers, functional and matrix managers, and staff to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget, consistent with defined ACENTRA HEALTH guidelines and processes and with client expectations. This role is a member of the Program/Project Management team and reports directly to Program Delivery Leadership.

ACENTRA HEALTH supports a high-volume healthcare data system that is accessed through multiple web portals. This high-volume system operates out of multiple data centers and must reliably be available to its clients 7x24x365

Job Responsibilities:

Program Management:

·       Manages, plans, and develops methods and procedures for implementing a program and multiple software products concurrently

·       Works independent of supervision

·       Oversees multiple projects

·       Maintains relationships with multiple clients

·       Directs and coordinates program activities and exercises control over personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of a program

·       Confers with Project Managers and staff to explain program and individual responsibilities for functions and phases of a program

·       Manages multiple projects across the enterprise and regularly exercises independent judgment and a high level of analytical skill in solving complex and unusual technical, administrative, and managerial problems

·       Provides program management on prime, fixed projects

·       Provides program management for team sizes that are typically between 100 to 150 employees concurrently

·       Provides program management on projects with annual total contract value between $50M and $150M and complexity (hours) between 300,000 and 700,000 hours

·       Oversees multiple software products and has end-to-end responsibility

·       Manages program risk, including pre-project preparations and day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects

·       Executes project close activities accurately and on-time

·       Oversees and develops a feasible plan for multiple software products occurring concurrently to ensure that the plan achieves the goals and objectives of the projects and aligns with the organization’s overall business strategy

·       Determines project scope and recommends and assigns resources as available for multiple projects concurrently

·       Determines estimated time and financial commitment of project, and monitors progress for multiple projects concurrently

General:

·       Implements, maintains, and reports Earned Value (EV) metrics into project plans for multiple software products

·       Implements, maintains, and reports ACENTRA HEALTH project delivery metrics into project plans for multiple software products

·       Monitors and develops project budget for multiple software products and tracks actual spend compared to the planned budget, escalates to senior leadership as needed

·       Works with Program Director to ensure that budgets and schedules across projects meet ACENTRA HEALTH requirements

·       Often interfaces with senior management and provides industry insights and best practices

·       Determines, evaluates, and modifies plans to meet current and future needs

·       Handles work situations that deal regularly with future business issues

·       Synthesizes many perspectives or conflicting ideas

·       Manages resources (people, process, budgets, technology)

·       Manages vendors in accordance with the corporate vendor management program requirements
