FIDELITY HOTEL is hiring for a TURNDOWN ATTENDANT

Fidelity Hotel is an adaptive reuse project located at 1940 E. 6th Street in the historic 103-year-old Baker Building. Fidelity Hotel will have 97 guest rooms & suites, each with tailored amenities, custom-designed furniture, and thoughtfully curated art. The property will feature a full-service restaurant, bar, event & meeting spaces, and a private dining room. Fidelity Hotel is an homage to Cleveland’s long-standing ideals. What you'll do:

  • Prepare guest rooms for the night to include turning down the bed linen, closing curtains, placing amenities, etc.
  • Clean guest rooms and common areas according to standard operating procedures and as assigned by your supervisor
  • Stock housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies including linen, cleaning rags, and guest room amenities
  • Complete turndown services to all in-house guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards
  • Complete any guest requests in a timely fashion
  • Maintain cleanliness of guest corridors and back of house throughout the shift
  • Maintain organization of storage areas and replenish supplies as needed
  • Assist with responsibilities and duties of laundry services during need periods
  • Report and correct any deficiencies noted in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate individuals
  • Assist in the timely completion of all projects including mattress rotation, window washing, deep cleanings, etc.
  • Assist in the implementation of special projects
  • Possess knowledge of all guest services and amenities
  • Greet all guests in close proximity and make each feel important by providing a genuine welcome
  • Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary

Who you are: 

  • You have a high school diploma or general education degree preferred.
  • Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience preferred
  • You can interpret standard operating procedures, safety, and sanitation instructions.
