As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with residents and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.32 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You’ll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and property management to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
- Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
- Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A valid guard card or license is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
