Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cleaning large volumes of data.
- Implementing safeguards to guarantee data quality.
- Introduce and align data government practices.
- Conduct periodic review of requirements on data ingestion and availability.
- Process and analyse data from various sources to extract basic statistics and insights.
- Contribute to the development of analyses to understand how the systems producing the data operate.
- Contribute to the development of monitoring capabilities to track information security.
- Contribute to the automation of development processes.
- Closely collaborate with our partner OCI operations team on data availability, resource provisioning, etc.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in ML development or data preparation for the use of ML is a plus.
- Comfortable with writing non-trivial code in Python, Scala, and good skills in Java.
- Good background in cloud infrastructure automation (Terraform, Chef, or similar).
- Basic to good background in distributed systems incl. Spark and container platforms incl. Kubernetes.
- Experience in working in a DevOps model using any of the major cloud providers Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $73,700 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
