Internship details:
- This internship opportunity will begin May 2024
- This internship can be remote or hybrid.
- 40 hours/week work dedication during summer and breaks, 20-25/week during the semester
- Anticipated graduation date between May 2025 - December 2025.
- Applicants for this internship position with Acxiom in the U.S. must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Acxiom (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (CPT/OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status)
What you will do:
- Learn to effectively work through issue resolution which may include, but is not limited to, errors that require escalation and complex problem-solving
- Develop an understanding for some of the following depending on specific assignment:
- Read and interpret requirements used to build, improve, or integrate programs and processes for one or more Acxiom Client solutions and/or applications
- Review application design and functional specifications to write application code
- Provide consultation on functional requirements and participate in code review sessions
- Identify and diagnose areas of maintenance, performance issues, and process improvement
- Use pertinent software language, develop/implement unit test cases and test software applications that fulfill functional specifications using an IDE: Document and interpret test results and correct application coding errors
- Complete application development tasks for short duration programming requirements
What you will need:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong SQL skills and Unix Shell skills
- Problem-solving skills with solid attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily responsibilities
- Effective communicate
- Interest in learning about the Marketing Technology industry
What will set you apart:
- Minimum 3.5 GPA
- Advanced knowledge of SQL / PL –SQL
- Knowledge of Relational Database Principles; Oracle or other DBMS
- Working Knowledge (Understanding of Syntax) of the following:
- Perl
- Shell Scripting
- Java
- UNIX/LINUX
