Description

Title:  Creative Arts Senior Associate

Unit: Creative Arts

Reports To: Director of Creative Arts

Status: Full-Time; Regular, Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $35.72 to $38.47 (approximately $65,000 to $70,000 annually)

Location: In-Person, LIC, NY, as well as other Fortune locations and project sites

Schedule: 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm; flex schedule as program requires

Position Summary:

The high energy, primarily in-person role of the Creative Arts Senior Associate is to work with the Director of Creative Arts, Creative Arts staff and community members, and Fortune program staff across all departments to develop and sustain innovative programming. The Senior Associate will also manage administrative aspects of the Arts program across all of Fortune’s locations. They will plan, coordinate and execute projects and programming that are in direct service to Fortune participants, and ensure that engagement positively impacts community members’ growth, learning, and creative expression. Currently, the primary base of operations for this position is at Fortune’s main service center in Long Island City, Queens but that may change according to program needs.

  • Work directly with the Director of Creative Arts to plan and execute all programming, projects and day-to-day activities at Fortune and off-site locations;
