Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Job Description:

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for performing individual tactical and analytical duties which include cash reconciliations for a fast-paced environment.   The role is hybrid and will require someone in the office 2 days per week in Brea, CA at our HQ.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Prepare and publicize daily cash postings.
• Cash reconciliation (receipts posted to account >>>> receipts in bank)
• Monitor bank chargebacks and returned items.
• Customer account reconciliation (remittance >>>> applications to customer account)
• Prepare and monitor credit card charges, refunds, and reconciliations in multiple currencies.
• Research and resolve daily issues and requests by various sources of internal customers. 
• Identify and resolve invoicing errors and escalate to completion.
• Assist Supervisor with Internal and external cash audits and Unclaimed Property
• Support period end financial closing activities for Accounts Receivable.
• General ledger, bank reconciliations and intercompany netting

• High school diploma OR GED equivalent required
• Accounting degree preferred
• 0- 1 year prior accounts receivable experience; banking is a plus.
• Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must have technical aptitude to learn SAP and/or Oracle.
• Experience with MS Office Suite; Windows, Outlook, Excel required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

Target Market Salary Range:

The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$20.50 - $23.50 per hour
