Job Summary:
Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or for a complete line of business that may be regional or national in scope, often requiring associates in one or more location. Functions managed may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication. Consults with senior management in evaluating current methods and developing strategies to implement changes and improvements. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business units functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices. Generally has full management responsibility over a relatively large team and may manage one or more levels of managers.
Leads the support/administrative functions for a somewhat large department usually at a local level. Responsibilities may include budget analysis and recommendations, operations analysis, identification and resolution of work flow issues, associate training, service quality, process improvement. Resolves personnel, audit and/or budget issues by researching and analyzing unusual problems, administers bank programs and policies and provides interpretation to department. Requires an in-depth knowledge of bank policies and programs and of the departments functional operations. May direct workflow activities.
Line of Business Job Description:
This newly established role provides strategic leadership for GT&GO Finance Technology and Data Excellence, driving innovation and defining the future-state vision for all finance owned applications, workflows and data. The role is also responsible for leading the annual Technology initiative planning process for GTOF and developing the business cases necessary to secure funding. This will all be done in partnership with our GTOF teammates, the CFO Automation and Change Management teams, and of course, our Technology partners.
Responsibilities:
Develops strategic and tactical plans to drive progress towards business goals and objectives
Builds and/or executes business initiatives and/or processes, while partnering with stakeholders and partners
Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business
Engages with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives
Performs analytics, assessments, and/or interpretation of data and/or information to identify business opportunities, derive insights, and measure outcomes
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in business support, change management, governance, operations or related field
Catalyst for change, driving efficiency improvements through the strategic adoption of new technologies
Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, self-starter, with excellent anticipation skills; problem solving; follow up
Strong communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) including tact, diplomacy and ability to influence multiple stakeholders
Highly organized with strong project/process design and optimization skills; must balance multiple priorities, adapt to unexpected events in a deadline driven environment
Proficient in Microsoft business applications
Desired Qualifications:
Experience within The CFO Group, with a strong understanding of CFO processes
Experience in application design, Alteryx and Tableau
