We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Analyst to join the Business Intelligence Team. The analyst will play a critical role in partnering with Eargo Marketing teams to provide data-driven strategic insights that inform marketing efforts to grow the business.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze and interpret data from digital and offline (TV, Direct Mail, Radio, Podcast) marketing campaigns.
- Join front-end (marketing) and back-end (sales) data to conduct ROI analysis and provide actionable campaign optimization recommendations.
- Synthesize and analyze data from disparate sources (e.g., Funnel.io, Heap Analytics, PostgreSQL DB, Salesforce, product analytics platform, support Agency reporting, etc) to provide actionable insights.
- Partner with Marketing to build and maintain an accurate marketing forecast model.
- Support Marketing team in the development of data-driven marketing strategies.
- Monitor the efficacy of marketing trends through analytical tools and software.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest advancements in technology, market trends, and best practices in marketing technology and marketing data analysis.
- Formulate plans and present to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on marketing funnel to provide key metrics against growth KPIs.
- Build automated dashboards to monitor and track marketing funnel and performance.
- Partner with marketing team to build A/B tests, incrementality tests, and track digital marketing campaign performance.
- Present digestible stories with data to leadership team using various tools such as Microsoft Office and data visualization platform such as Power BI.
- Work with Eargo Data Engineers to automate solutions where appropriate.
- Other tasks or duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, social sciences, marketing or similar field.
- Minimum of 3+ years working in business intelligence/analytics roles.
- Proven experience combining, manipulating, and summarizing data from relational databases. (e.g. T-SQL) to produce analysis for the marketing team.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI, Google Data Studio, Excel, etc.
- Experience building dashboards in PowerBI, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with analyzing activity logs (e.g., page views, button clicks, etc)
- Basic knowledge of web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Heap Analytics, or Fullstory.
- Ability to work with a diverse workforce that is located all over the United States.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create reports and/or presentations, describe results, and tailor communication to different types of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability and desire to problem-solve, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong drive and energy levelFamiliarity with survey tools, CRM programs and databases.
- Intuitive, high-level understanding of A/B tests and what types of experiments are feasible and worth running.
- Experience with statistics (regression, power analysis, analyzing a randomized experiment) is a plus.
- Familiarity with data and best practices from major marketing platforms such as Facebook/Meta Ads, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, etc. is a plus.
