Job description

As a Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for the development, optimization, and implementation of process engineering solutions for our PEM electrolysers. This role requires expertise in hydrogen production, system integration, and process control. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure safe, efficient, and scalable electrolyser operation.

Duties and responsibilities 

• Design and optimize hydrogen production processes for containerized PEM electrolysers.
• Develop and implement process models, simulations, and control strategies.
• Conduct process safety reviews, HAZOP studies, and risk assessments.
• Work with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate process systems efficiently.
• Provide technical guidance on process-related aspects such as gas purification, water treatment, and thermal management.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of electrolyser systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers and partners on process equipment and instrumentation selection and standardization.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in hydrogen production or chemical processing industries.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, mass transfer, and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with process simulation tools
• Familiarity with hydrogen safety standards and regulations.
• Hands-on experience in system commissioning and troubleshooting.
