Join us.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>Here is what you will do: </strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>System Design and Engineering:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Develop and implement designs for power system components, including substations, transformers or renewable projects.</p></li><li><p>Perform power system studies and analyses, including load flow, short circuit, arc-flash, stability, and reliability assessments.</p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Project Management:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of power system projects.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.</p></li><li><p>Prepare cost estimates, project reports, and resource allocation plans.</p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>System Analysis and Optimization:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Conduct power system modeling and simulations to identify and resolve potential issues.</p></li><li><p>Optimize system performance through the implementation of advanced technologies and best practices.</p></li><li><p>Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or modifications as needed.</p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Compliance and Standards:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Ensure all designs and projects comply with industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NERC), company policies, and regulatory requirements.</p></li><li><p>Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices.</p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Documentation and Reporting:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Prepare technical documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and maintenance procedures.</p></li><li><p>Generate reports on project progress, system performance, and inspection outcomes.</p></li></ul></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Here’s what we’re looking for:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering</p></li><li><p><strong>Experience:</strong> 4+ years of experience in transmission line design, analysis, or construction.</p></li><li><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Effective communication and teamwork abilities.</p></li><li>Strong understanding of electrical and structural principles related to transmission substations and network grid.</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Prior experience in performing Grid Connection related (Digsilent, ETAP, PSSE/PSCAD/ Equivalent) dynamic or advanced power system studies is mandatory.</p></li><li><p>Experience in preparation of technical study reports for Renewable Energy Grid Connection works (Wind Farm / Solar PV / Hybrid / BESS / Other Equivalent) is desirable.</p></li><li><p>Experience in protection coordionation studies</p></li><li><p>Experience in working as technical expert in consultancy firm is desirable.</p></li><li><p>Exposure to International standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, Australian Standards and Middle East region codes and standards) is recommended.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD).</p></li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>At AECOM, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity</strong></p><p><em>Our Freedom to Grow hybrid working philosophy is the cornerstone of our success as a business – supporting a culture of flexibility, trust and performance at AECOM.</em></p><p>#LI-IP1</p><p><strong>About AECOM</strong> </p><p>AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
