The engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting initial and periodic inspections of stationary and portable electrical equipment. In addition, this role involves hardware installation/removal, IT infrastructure planning, documentation, and incident/change management within a high-availability data center environment.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct <strong>initial and periodic electrical inspections</strong> (DGUV V3) of fixed and portable equipment (e.g., servers, switches, PDUs).</li> <li>Execute <strong>measurement and testing procedures</strong>, ensuring compliance with VDE norms and technical regulations.</li> <li>Document all measurements and follow up on detected deficiencies or safety issues.</li> <li>Maintain and continuously improve the <strong>documentation and archiving system</strong> for DGUV V3 test results.</li> <li>Plan and manage <strong>recurring electrical inspections</strong> for all relevant infrastructure.</li> <li>Coordinate cross-functional activities with internal departments and safety officers.</li> <li><strong>Represent the authorized electrical supervisor (vEFK)</strong> during on-site data center audits and walkthroughs.</li> <li>Assist in <strong>risk assessments</strong> and the definition of safety protocols in the workspace.</li> <li>Oversee <strong>rack and hardware infrastructure layout</strong>, including planning, setup, and documentation of servers, network equipment, and related components.</li> <li>Participate in <strong>Change Management</strong> and <strong>Incident Management</strong> processes for the data center.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Education:</strong></li> <ul> <li>Completed vocational training as a <strong>Master Electrician, State-Certified Technician</strong>, or <strong>IT Systems Electronics Technician (ITSE)</strong>.</li> <li>Recognized certification from the IHK (German Chamber of Industry and Commerce) or equivalent.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Language:</strong></li> <ul> <li><strong>German language proficiency at C1 level</strong> (as per CEFR).</li> <li>Native speakers are exempt from formal proof.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Tool Knowledge:</strong></li> <ul> <li>Proficiency in <strong>Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM)</strong> tools.</li> <li>Certification or documented project experience required.</li> </ul> </ul> <p><strong>Professional Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of <strong>3 years of continuous experience</strong> in:</li> <ul> <li>The <strong>IT sector and/or electrical engineering</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Electrical measurement technology</strong> and <strong>DGUV V3 testing procedures</strong>.</li> </ul> </ul> <p>Documentation of these experiences via certificates, references, or project portfolios is mandatory.</p> <p><strong>Soft Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated <strong>teamwork, reliability, and motivation</strong>.</li> <li>Strong <strong>customer and service orientation</strong> in technical environments.</li> <li>Ability to work <strong>independently, proactively</strong>, and in a <strong>structured manner</strong>.</li> </ul> <p>These competencies will be assessed through <strong>telephone or in-person interviews</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>No formal security clearance required at the time of application, but willingness to comply with security protocols is expected.</li></ul> <p><strong>What we offer:<br/></strong></p> <p><strong>• Join a cosmopolitan and internationally mixed team:</strong> We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and cultures to co
