Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides strategic and tactical planning of all pharmacy operations
Implements, coordinates and evaluates all clinical, operational, regulatory, and financial pharmacy services
Assign staff workloads, develop priorities, establish work schedules, monitor staff productivity reports.
Responsible for all staff training and onboarding, performance reviews and systems knowledge
Plans and implements policies and procedures according to regulatory agencies (HRSA, Board of Pharmacy, OSHA..) requirements
Confers with IT staff to optimize pharmacy management systems
Establish quality improvement, fiscal, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives. The Pharmacy Services Director will also report to the Quality Improvement Committee of the Board of Directors on progress towards meeting department goals
Provide leadership to the pharmacy department through effective organization, direction of activities, and appropriate delegation of duties
Supervise the maintenance and dissemination of drug information through in-service education of pharmacy personnel, consultation with patients and medical staff.
Supervise, evaluate, and counsel  pharmacists, pharmacy managers, pharmacy technicians and clinical pharmacists.
Perform yearly appraisals and develop bi-annual performance objectives, which results in the growth and development of direct report employees.
Performs functions including documentation and record keeping in compliance with Clinic Policies and Procedures, Clinic regulatory agencies, contractual obligations and funding sources, including the Health and Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) that protects the health information of clients, employees and volunteers.
Oversees day to day dispensations from all pharmacies/dispensaries outlets within Saban for specialty medications. 
Following all the organization's guidelines, policies, and procedures for the safety of delivery and handling of all specialty medications operations. 
Supervise the senior clinical staff regarding all clinical pharmacy operations pertaining to the specialty pharmacy and following up on a regular basis to ensure all standards are met. 
Supervise the patients' feedback, incidents and grievances collection procedures and ensure its representation and follow up on the process improvement committee (PIC) meetings. 
Supervise the overall specialty pharmacy operations and patient management in the medication dispensations and clinical pharmacy prentices. 
Ensure compliance with the Board of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Agency and other regulatory agencies
Act as the primary Contact on OPAIS and supervise all 340B medications in all the clinics and ensure full compliance with the program within the Saban clinics by supervising regular audits and follow up with all stakeholders.
Lead the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee (P&T) with clinical leadership team to maintain and further develop a sustainable, standardized and efficient cooperation and coordination between the pharmacy department and the medical services department.

Position Requirements:

Currently licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the State of California.
Prior experience working in an ambulatory health care setting preferred.
Prior supervisory experience in a middle or upper-level management capacity required
Prior experience and deep knowledge of the 340B program.
Strong problem solving, Critical thinking and teamwork skills.
Fast-paced retail pharmacy management experience highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to lead and support teams in a mission-driven and compliance-focused environment.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel).
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR systems).
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Demonstrated ability to respond with sensitivity to people of diverse cultures and various lifestyles.
Willingness to work flexible hours.
