JOB PURPOSE:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will play a key role in supporting the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) across all areas under his purview. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management expertise who is capable of aligning human resources initiatives with organizational goals. The HRBP will collaborate with leadership, implement and monitor the organization’s Strategic Plan, and provide hands-on support to drive organizational performance, employee engagement, and process efficiencies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop project plans, set timelines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery.
Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and report updates to the CAO and key stakeholders.
Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, handling employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
Partner with leaders to promote employee engagement and foster a positive work environment.
Conduct investigations into workplace concerns, recommend solutions, and ensure timely resolution.
Support Leadership in identifying organizational talent needs and assist in creating workforce planning strategies.
Collaborate with departments to drive employee development initiatives, including training programs and career path planning.
Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with local, state, and federal employment laws.
Assist the CAO with process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies across areas under his leadership.
Maintain HR records and prepare reports/metrics for the CAO to inform decision-making.
Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and manage the recruitment process.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects to support organizational goals and process improvements.
Collaborate with teams to implement project outcomes and measure their effectiveness.
Support the Leadership with special projects, initiatives, and administrative tasks as assigned.
Act as a liaison between HR and departments overseen by the CAO, ensuring consistent communication and coordination.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 40
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. Master's Degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2+) years of work experience in Human Resources preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Communicate with employees and payroll departments, specifically cognizant of pay period deadlines and timelines.
Excellent communication (verbal and writing) skills.
Moderate EXCEL skills preferred, such as knowledge of Pivot Tables and equations/formulas.
Physical Requirements
Individuals must be able to sustain certain physical requirements essential to the job. This includes, but is not limited to:
Standing – Duration of up to 6 hours a day.
Sitting/Stationary Positions – Sedentary position in duration of up to 6-8 hours a day for consecutive hours/periods.
Lifting/Push/Pull – Up to 50 pounds of equipment, baggage, supplies, and other items used in the scope of the job using OSHA guidelines, etc.
Bending/Squatting – Have to be able to safely bend or squat to perform the essential functions under the scope of the job.
Stairs/Steps/Walking/Climbing – Must be able to safely maneuver stairs, climb up/down, and walk to access work areas.
Agility/Fine Motor Skills - Must demonstrate agility and fine motor skills to operate and activate equipment, devices, instruments, and tools to complete essential job functions (ie. typing, use of supplies, equipment, etc.)
Sight/Visual Requirements – Must be able to visually read documentation, papers, orders, signs, etc., and type/write documentation, etc. with accuracy.
Audio Hearing and Motor Skills (Language) Requirements – Must be able to listen attentively and document information from patients, community members, co-workers, clients, providers, etc., and intake information through audio processing with accuracy.
