Job Summary/Basic Functions

The ACUHO-I Summer Interns are an integral member of the Housing and Residence Life team. The interns will have the opportunity to serve in a variety of capacities over the summer. These include but are not limited to working with summer housing, summer camps and conferences, and focusing on special projects in our Central Office.

This position requires you to live in a university-provided and assigned apartment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working student affairs. Ideally, we are looking for current graduate students who are interested in career development in student affairs and Housing and Residence Life. Preference is given to candidates who have been identified through the ACUHO-I Summer Internship program.

Job Duties:

  • 30% - Obtain an overall understanding of the department and its operations. - (Essential)
  • 40% - Oversee their assigned summer responsibilities - (Essential)
  • 30% - Work collaboratively with other departments in the University - (Essential)
