Director, Security & Compliance

We’re looking for someone to lead the security compliance team at ServiceTitan. You will be a pivotal leader in guiding our organization through complex compliance landscapes. What you'll do:
- Leadership in Compliance and Governance
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight for compliance and governance at department, business unit, company-wide, and global levels.
- Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory standards, company policies, and third-party/supply chain requirements.
- Conduct and oversee internal and external compliance audits, manage compliance waivers, and maintain vendor compliance.
- Perform data and system classification governance and define reporting metrics.
- Compliance Oversight
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for compliance activities and initiatives.
- Create and improve compliance roadmaps, evaluate compliance controls, and oversee adherence to policies and standards.
- Perform and oversee compliance audits and recommend technical and procedural controls.
- Research new regulatory compliance requirements and update policies and procedures.
- Team Leadership
- Provide organizational strategic guidance and team management.
- Perform organization and resource planning, staff development, and retention planning.
- Direct and oversee cyber timelines and deliverables.
- Risk Management Leadership
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership for cyber risk management at all organizational levels.
- Develop and enhance cyber risk management maturity and processes.
- Lead cyber risk management initiatives, including risk analysis, business impact assessments, and remediation activities.
- Technical Risk Oversight
- Provide technical leadership for cyber risk activities.
- Ensure the risk management program meets objectives and provide risk management expertise.
- Design and implement common risk assessment frameworks and monitor corrective actions from risk assessments.
- Research new trends in risk management and define risk metrics and maturity reports.
- Extensive experience in compliance and risk management, including familiarity with PCI/DSS 4.0, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC 2 Type II, SOC 1 Type II, and California Consumer Privacy (CCPA/CPRA).
- Proven leadership and management experience, including managing direct reports.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex information to various stakeholders.
- Ability to stay current with evolving regulatory and compliance landscapes.
