Do you want to help deliver projects to jobsites ready to install? Working in a manufacturing factory environment, modular products allow for improved quality for the customer and safety of the team. Our solutions are used by some of the largest operators in the industry—including search engine and social media companies, co-location providers and cloud service hosts. ABOUT THE ROLEThe Product Engineer assists the product development team in performing focused tasks to support the product development process. The Product Engineer must be able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and understand basic electrical and mechanical systems. They may be asked to focused on one or more of the following processes; generating a bill of material, preparing and reviewing submittals, soliciting quotes, performing basic quantity takeoffs, assembling PowerPoint presentations from multiple source documents, and printing, storing and retrieving design and engineering documents in the Document Management System.
- Completing specific product development tasks or activities including:
- Creating, storing, printing and submitting documents
- Maintaining information logs (RFI, submittal, change requests)
- Distributing information to the development team
- Participating in team meetings.
- Recording meeting minutes and tracking action items.
- Facilitating the collaboration between product development teams and the manufacturing assembly teams.
- Complete tasks completely, accurately and on time
- Play an active role in a creative team collaboration environment
- Maintain proficiency in the use of the tools provided
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office 365
- Familiarity with Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Bluebeam Revu
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring methods
- Basic understanding of processes and document flow on a construction project or in an industrial manufacturing environment
