Driver for the Highland Coach - summer role

Icelandia Travel Agency is a leading travel service company in Iceland. The company employs over 600 individuals who strive to provide their customers with an outstanding service experience. The company provides tourists with various services ranging from bus tours to customized adventure trips.

Icelandia Travel Agency is looking for experienced, service-oriented drivers with a strong safety awareness for the summer of 2025, with the possibility of a permanent position. This is a summer job starting no later than June 1st, working according to a 2-2-3 shift schedule.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Driving the highland bus and servicing passengers.
• Supervision and maintenance of vehicles.
• Working according to the company's environmental, safety, and quality standards.
• Supervision of passengers' luggage and goods transported by the company's vehicles.

Education and qualification requirements:

• Experience driving on highland roads and crossing unbridged rivers is a requirement.
• Advanced driving license D.
• Valid tachograph card.
• Clean criminal record.
• Knowledge of Icelandic and/or English.
• Strong safety awareness, service orientation, and interpersonal skills.
• Neatness and punctuality.
• Positivity, drive, and the ability to work independently.
