Job Summary

PSEG is looking for an Intern for the Customer Analytics departments in Customer Care.

This job involves working on customer analytics tasks supporting the Customer Data Lake project as well as the Customer Analytics customer segmentation projects. The candidate will be assisting the Customer Analytics team by performing various project management tasks as they relate to the projects specified above. The candidate will also assist the Customer Analytics team by conducting ad hoc customer analysis, such as on how customers transact through our channel offerings.

This position will be Hybrid.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Data Science / Analytics, Mathematics or Statistics and graduating between December 2025 and May 2028. Students graduating in May/June 2025 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2025. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration. Because this position will require traveling to various PSEG locations, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record is required.

Tasks may include: 
•    Support the development and implementation of a Customer Data Lake and Customer Segmentation projects, such as developing process documentation, updating project trackers, updating project schedules, updating & creating presentations for internal stakeholders, and assisting with test documentation
•    Analyze customer channel transactional and demographic data 
•    Develop report dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau
•    Effectively communicate results and insights to subject matter experts and team members<
