Group/Division

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Processing & Transformation:
    • Build robust ETL pipelines to convert unstructured service reports into structured datasets.
    • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Analytics & Modeling:
    • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to identify trends and predictive patterns.
    • Develop dashboards and reports for KPIs such as service cycle time, resource utilization, and failure analysis.
    • Strong understanding of predictive analytics, data governance, and statistical modeling.
  • Automated RAG Pipeline:
    • Design and implement an Automated Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline to enhance data interpretation and accelerate insights from large volumes of unstructured text.
    • Integrate RAG workflows with existing analytics systems for scalable and efficient query handling.
  • Collaboration & Enablement:
    • Partner with field service teams to understand operational pain points and data sources.
    • Consulting with data scientists and analysts on areas to improve scripts and queries
  • Automation & Scalability:
    • Implement automated workflows for continuous ingestion and analysis of service data.
    • Optimize models for scalability across global service operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL, SAS, R and Python. Ability to work with structured and unstructured data
  • Knowledge on machine learning, advanced mathematics, data conditioning, and working with big data tools
  • Exposure to developing quick prototypes for demos, and larger-scale software projects  
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years

Base Pay Range: $68,900.00 - $117,100.00 Annually
