Position Title: Event Manager

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000

Other Forms of Compensation: Commission Plan (Up to $45,000 based on Sales)

Job Summary

The Event Manager oversees the planning and execution of private dining and special events in a fine dining environment, ensuring each occasion reflects the restaurant’s reputation for fine dining and and impeccable service. This role blends sales acumen with hands-on event management, guiding clients through every detail of their experience, from initial inquiry to flawless completion. Success requires refined hospitality instincts, a polished professional presence, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with culinary, beverage, and service teams to create truly memorable events.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of private dining and special events, from inquiry to post-event follow-up, ensuring an elevated client and guest experience.

• Build and maintain relationships with discerning clientele, corporate partners, and social planners to encourage repeat and referral business.

• Develop customized proposals, event orders, and timelines that align with each client’s vision and the restaurant’s brand standards.

• Partner closely with the culinary, beverage, and operations teams to design bespoke menus and experiences that exceed expectations.

• Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring seamless coordination, timing, and presentation throughout service.

• Represent the restaurant with professionalism and sophistication at client meetings, tastings, and industry functions.

• Collaborate with marketing to showcase the restaurant’s private dining capabilities and highlight its signature experiences.

• Maintain accurate event forecasts, contracts, and post-event evaluations to support business goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing private events in a fine dining restaurant, luxury hotel, or upscale hospitality venue.

• Proven success in both client relations and event execution within a high-touch service environment.

• Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to anticipate client needs and create tailored experiences with poise and discretion.

• Professional polish and composure, with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
