Sr. CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities:

• CNC Lathe Setup & Operation: Set up and operate CNC lathes, including multi-axis machines, to produce precision parts.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles accurately.
• Programming: Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and M-code; experience with FANUC and Siemens controls preferred.
• Quality Assurance: Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to inspect parts; ensure all dimensions and tolerances are met.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines; troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Team Leadership: Lead by example and provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior machinists.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to enhance machining processes and product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years' CNC lathe setup experience, including complex multi-axis machining.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in CNC programming, machine setup, and operation; strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles accurately.
• Inspection Tools: Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.).
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to make necessary adjustments to optimize production

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/or move up to 50 pounds

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $32.60 – $55.43 hourly. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
