Senior Supply Chain Analyst - Outbound

About the Role:

The Supply Chain Analyst is reporting into the Transport Manager and thus his main responsibility is to support the Transport Manager in providing KPI, management and ad-hoc reporting and projects. Besides this he will be responsible for the operational / data part of Harman’s Transport Management System (TMS), is expected to collaborate with the other Analysts within the Operations department of Harman on reporting and projects and will support the Team Lead Supply Chain & Supply Chain Coordinators in their daily operational tasks.

What You Will Do:

Warehousing & Distribution

• Maintain & develop reports to monitor daily activities of the Supply Chain department.
• Pro-actively identify bottle necks in Supply Chain and act on solving these bottle necks.
• Provide, manage and develop management reports and continuously look for developments on these reports.
• Developing Qlik sense reporting, maintaining the existing reports and manage the supply chain data in Qlik sense.
• Assist in the automation goals of the Supply Chain department.
• Document processes and procedures of the Supply Chain department.
• Ensure correct and up-to-date information in Transport Management System.
• Support the team of Supply Chain Coordinators in case necessary.
• Act as back-up in case Team Lead Supply Chain is out of the office.

Project Management

• Execute assigned projects.
• Monitor departmental projects.
• Develop and maintain reports for logistics department.
• Initiate and implement improvement supply chain projects.
• Progress and quality of projects.

What You Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in the field of logistics e.g. supply chain management. (master’s degree preferred)
• At least 5 years work experience within Supply Chain / Operations as an Analyst.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in data analysis tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to operate independently.
• Affinity with digital applications and willingness to explore/ adopt new applications.
• Deeply experienced in working cross regional and globally with a diverse, multi-cultural team.
• Positive, energetic, can-do attitude, self-starter, accountable and takes ownership.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal), other European languages an advantage.
• Experience with MS office suite, especially Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Experience with SAP is preferable.
• Experience with PowerBI or QlikSense is a plus.
• Experience with Excel VBA, Python or any other programming experience is a plus.
