We are currently seeking a Sr. Manager within Indirect Procurement supporting IT.   The Sr. Manager manages a team of Global Supply Managers, and oversees all company business within the IT procurement category.  The Sr. Manager is the key internal escalation and decision maker with Suppliers, IT, Retail, Finance, Logistics, Quality and Manufacturing. They will establish our IT Infrastructure global supply chain strategy, manage end to end contracting, supplier management, and support cross-functional teams in execution. 
 
 
You Will: 

  • Lead a team of procurement professionals to effectively manage the sourcing, negotiation, and contracting processes for the IT procurement category (Software, Hardware, Services, Infrastructure), reporting to the Director, Indirect Procurement.  
  • Negotiate contracts by driving sound procurement business fundamentals amongst your team: Sourcing Strategies, RFIs, RFQs, Quote Analysis, Program Management, financial due diligence, and executive approvals. 
  • Be a key decision maker and partner with your counterparts within IT and Supply Chain, focused on cost, quality, and delivery. 
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic suppliers/vendors, fostering strong partnerships to drive innovation, value creation, and continuous improvement. 
  • Conduct market analysis, supplier assessments, and benchmarking to stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities. 
  • Drive initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, automation, and digitalization through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and tools. 
  • Implement robust supplier performance management processes to monitor supplier performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and address any issues or discrepancies promptly. 
  • May travel as required to visit suppliers to perform business and program reviews 

 

You Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field required. Master's or Advanced degree is a plus 
  • 10-12 years minimum experience working across the Indirect Procurement or IT Procurement Category (Software, Hardware or Services) 
  • The ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels of the business from analyst to VPs 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of resilience to deal with urgent requests, and minimal information. Works well with various teams 
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze market trends, and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Proven ability to lead by example and take pride in both your and your teams’ work.  Coaching the team to be successful and take ownership of the company goals and objectives. 
  • Passion for results, strategy, and hands-on execution. 
  • The ability to manage complex suppliers and resolve disputes while preserving relationships with suppliers and internal staff 
  • Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities 
  • Proficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) 

 

This is a full-time onsite (Monday-Friday) role at our Headquarters in Newark, CA or our Tech Hub in Southfield, MI.
