The District Team Leader will oversee boutiques in MA, NH, ME, RI and CT.  

What You’ll Own:

  • Leadership & Strategy
    • Lead your district in delivering francesca’s brand vision and strategic objectives, ensuring all boutiques perform to brand standards.
    • Drive sales and profitability by analyzing business trends, managing expenses, and executing daily and long-term sales plans.
    • Act as a key liaison between boutique teams, Regional Director, Human Resources, and Operations.
    • Foster a positive, feedback-rich environment that promotes engagement, accountability, and team success.
  • People & Talent Development
    • Attract, recruit, and retain guest-focused leaders and team members who deliver results.
    • Build succession plans for future talent needs while minimizing turnover.
    • Coach and develop Boutique Team Leaders and team members for growth, preparing them for the next level of responsibility.
    • Provide clear, timely, and consistent feedback while maintaining a culture of trust and integrity.
  • Guest Experience
    • Cultivate a guest-first selling culture that balances exceptional service with operational excellence.
    • Equip teams to create memorable guest interactions that build loyalty and repeat visits.
  • Visual Merchandising & Brand Presentation
    • Ensure boutiques are visually inspiring and aligned with francesca’s brand standards.
    • Lead visual execution through boutique visits, coaching, and decision-making support.
    • Demonstrate a passion for fashion by staying on top of trends and translating them into guest-facing experiences.
  • Operations & Execution
    • Enforce company policies and procedures consistently and fairly across the district.
    • Oversee scheduling and staffing strategies to maximize sales and guest experience.
    • Monitor sales, inventory, and operational controls to ensure boutiques run efficiently and profitably.
    • Collaborate with planning and merchandising teams to align inventory needs with sales performance.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience leading a district or market in specialty retail (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven leadership and integrity in driving results and inspiring teams.
  • Strong merchandising and visual presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to travel frequently to boutiques across the assigned geographical area.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maneuver sales floors and stockrooms, including repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Overnight travel required.
