We enable our customers to interpret the world around us by intelligently bridging the physical and digital worlds with unmatched technologies that sense, measure and connect.</p><p></p><p>We are looking for an experienced <span>industrial/manufacturing</span> engineer with exposure to working in a complex multi-process environment to join our team in Limerick. The ideal candidate will need excellent attention to detail to analyze, interpret and monitor our current operations and determine opportunities for improvement and implementation of same.</p><p>The industrial engineer's responsibilities include analyzing operations, designing workflows and production processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that final products meet the established quality standards. A record to show productivity improvements and ability to drive change and deliver results across multiple groups is necessary.</p><p></p><p>The successful candidate will be a part of the Limerick Operations and Technology team working in our best-in-class wafer manufacturing clean-rooms. The role involves working with our Engineering and Operations teams to improve complex wafer level processes and systems, and to identify opportunities for productivity improvements. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic work environment while interacting with Operations and Engineering teams from multidisciplinary backgrounds.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Responsibilities/Duties</span></b></p><ul><li>Analysing operations and processes to maximize productivity</li><li>Develop and enhance capacity and headcount models for operations</li><li>Develop an Overall Manufacturing Efficiency model for roll out in production with focus on SEMI-E10 and SEMI-E79 requirements </li><li>Identify capacity limitations in a complex multi processes cleanroom</li><li>Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste</li><li>Designing control systems to minimize cost and production issues</li><li>Develop production standards across operations</li><li>Mapping of inventory flow <span>& optimizing</span> flow / pull within and between manufacturing cells</li><li>Design of manufacturing layouts for efficiency</li><li>Application of Visual factory concepts</li></ul><p></p><p>The Candidate:</p><p>The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, dynamic, meticulous, proactive, prepared to take the initiative, drive change, and exhibit the following skills:</p><ul><li>Honors Degree in industrial engineering or related field required.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards, semiconductor manufacturing experience an advantage.</li><li>Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Documentation and organization skills.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Quick learning capability.</li><li>Strong sense of work ethics.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills </li></ul><p></p><p>For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
