From FX and CFDs to precious metals, master an exciting world of wealth management tools.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p><strong>Position Purpose: </strong>Financial Trading company known for innovative technology seeks a Senior Network Engineer with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The Engineer will actively contribute to both project and BAU requests, while working closely with Network Architects, Operations Engineers, and senior leadership.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Primary duties will include: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide daily support of StoneX LAN, WAN, Wireless and Network Trading Infrastructures. This includes monitoring, administering, and troubleshooting to maximize network availability.</li> <li>Monitors network performance to ensure capacity planning is performed and is proactive in assessing and recommending improvement. </li> <li>Complete project tasks/milestones and BAU work as a member of the Network Operations team.</li> <li>Perform written Root Cause Analysis documents for network outages and incidents when required.</li> <li>Ability to resolve incidents, problems, and change requests in accordance with service-level agreements (SLA’s) within approved maintenance windows.</li> <li>Strong analytical network troubleshooting skills and proficiency with packet capture tools.</li> <li>Ability to perform complex migrations/upgrades and deploy new technologies/features as the network environment evolves.</li> <li>Experience with developing professional diagrams and illustrations of network infrastructure.</li> <li>Research industry trends and becomes familiar with the laws and regulations of the firm.</li> <li>Utilize company resources to improve processes and procedures for team.</li> <li>Ensure operational documentation is completed and shared among entire Network Systems group.</li> <li>Update internal systems with the most current data and/or information as required/needed.</li> <li>Assist with preparing information and research materials for review.</li> <li>Attend meetings, events, and other networking opportunities.</li> <li>Experience with fundamentals in disaster recovery, change management, logging and alerting, and incident response.</li> <li>This list of responsibilities may not be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as needed.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>To land this role you will need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>10 + years’ experience providing Network Engineering support (Financial Industry experience a plus).</li> <li>5 + years’ experience building/managing relationships with senior technical customers.</li> <li>5 + years’ experience supporting Cisco ASA/Palo Alto Firewalls.</li> <li>5 + years’ experience supporting F5 Load Balancers.</li> <li>3 + years’ experience supporting Cloud-based network infrastructure (Azure/AWS).</li> <li>3 + years’ experience supporting multicast (IGMP, PIM, RP).</li> <li>Experience with automation tools, Python, Ansible, etc.</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication.</li> <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Extensive experience with the following technologies BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, QoS, PBR, VSS, HSRP, STP, and WAN Optimization technologies.</li> <li>Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco ISE in an enterprise environment.</li> <li>Experience supporting Arista and Cisco switching (Catalyst/Nexus).</li> <li>Operational experience with SD-WAN solutions a plus.</li> <li>Operational experience with Cisco Meraki (Wireless) a plus.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, team-oriented environment.</li> <li>Solid organizational skills, strong work ethic and attention to details.</li>
