The Boeing Company’s Engineering Test and Technology (ET&T) Human Resources (HR) Operations organization is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist – Operations Lead to join our team! In this leadership role, you will partner with HR Generalists (HRGs), Centers of Excellence (COEs), employees, managers, and senior executives to drive business value, enhance the employee experience, and ensure the effective delivery of HR programs and services.

You will lead and manage multiple HR processes within the HR Operations space, playing a critical role in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing special projects, supporting the execution of key HR processes, and facilitating cross-functional HR integration to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset that enables them to proactively drive actions and effectively execute on business needs. They will also possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, delivering communication with a high-impact style.

This position can be based in any of the following locations: Everett, WA; Berkeley, MO; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Chicago, IL; Oklahoma City, OK; Renton, WA; Ridley Park, PA; Seal Beach, CA; Long Beach, CA or Seattle, WA.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support to the ET&T HR Operations team to align, connect, and coordinate business and HR activities

  • Lead, support, and collaborate the delivery of key HR processes (e.g. Annual Compensation Review (ACR), succession planning, executive movement, talent management, etc.)

  • Utilize dashboards and metrics to analyze data, support business needs, and inform decision-making processes

  • Communicate effectively with HR peers and leaders regarding HR actions, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals

  • Ensure HR solutions are consistent with organizational objectives and goals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement

  • Drive the implementation of HR initiatives and programs, ensuring alignment with business strategies and objectives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address HR-related challenges, fostering a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business priorities

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • 5+ years of experience utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes

  • 5+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects

  • 3+ years of experience managing metrics to drive data driven solutions/decisions

  • 3+ years of experience working for a large employer with both union and non-union populations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams either formally or informally in a Human Resources role

  • 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and leaders across functions

  • 5+ years of experience working with employees as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

  • Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product

  • Experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
