About the role

The role is responsible to manage governance for cybersecurity-focused initiatives and activities. The role is an individual contributor to manage and report on the preparation, communication, implementation, delivery, and expansion of cybersecurity plans. Maintains the action tracker to ensure that all identified initiatives are tracked through to closure and are being adequately managed.

We want to hear from you today if you can:

  • Establish and maintain governance processes to ensure cybersecurity initiatives align with organizational project lifecycle requirements. 
  • Track and oversee cybersecurity project milestones, ensuring timely completion and alignment with governance frameworks. 
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for cybersecurity-related initiatives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, define objectives, and manage resources effectively. 
  • Monitor project risks and dependencies, ensuring mitigation strategies are implemented as needed.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for project updates, governance reviews, and reporting on cybersecurity initiative progress. 
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports to executive leadership, security committees, and governance bodies. 

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in cybersecurity or information security-related projects. 
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT). 
  • Ability to identify process gaps and implement governance improvements.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders across security, IT, compliance, and business units.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on governance and compliance. 
  • Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Familiarity with GRC platforms and project management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Archer).
