This advertisement is for an SES position located at Central Office in the Office of Human Resouces, Payroll and Benefits section.
Appointment Rate: $58,131.06 - $59,482.80 Annually
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a highly specialized and responsible position in the Office of Human Resources, Payroll & Benefits section. This position assists the Human Resource Consultant by developing, implementing, administering, and monitoring payroll and attendance and leave per applicable policies and procedures. The job functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for high level research, analysis, and compilation of the Office of Human Resources special projects and reports as assigned. Assists with auditing payroll problems when necessary.
- Responsible for reporting analysis and quality assurance of processed payroll transactions.
- Processing manual retroactive payments, temporary special duty assignments .
- Serves as back up for processing beneficiary payments for deceased employees, settlement agreements, CJIP, bonus paments.
- Assists when needed with coordination of the Department’s response to both internal and external audits related to the Office of Human Resources.
- Independently responds to requests for information and other inquiries either through written correspondence or telephone contact.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess High School Diploma or its equivalent and at least two (2) years of professional human resources/personnel experience in payroll and/or leave and attendance.
Must possess experience processing payroll actions in the People First system and/or FLAIR system?
