Job Details:

Pay: $14.15/hr

SUMMARY: Responsible placing bulk product in boxes, sorting product and stacking boxes to prepare for distribution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

· Tie whole birds

· Place product into bulk packaging

· Place bulk product in the boxes

· Label trays and boxes

· Place product on conveyer for distribution

· Stack boxes

· Sort product

· Keep the area clean

· Other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment

· Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures

Physical Requirements / Environment:

· Stand/Walk: Continuously (up to 8 hours)

· Lift/Carry: Frequently (1- 45 lbs.)

· Simple/Firm/Fine Grasping: Frequently

· Push/Pull: Frequently

· Other Physical Requirements:

o Bend/stoop: Frequently

o Squat, reach above shoulder (up to 2 ft.), crouch, kneel, balance, (Occasionally)

o Climb height: Occasionally (5 – 10 ft.)

· Environment: Continuously - Working around moving machinery, working in a cold, damp and slippery environment (Below 40° F).

Rehire Consideration:

• Max of two (2) previous Tyson Employments to be considered for hire.
• 90 days (3 months) waiting period.
