Informaticist-Clinical Intermediate

(This is a hybrid position with regular onsite work in and around Indianapolis, Indiana)

This is a customer-centric role which involves the ability to provide a bridge between clinicians and technical teams to advance efficiencies in workflow.  In this role, you will leverage your expertise in health informatics to optimize clinical workflows, enhance data management, and support the implementation of electronic health records (EHR) systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in healthcare IT, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to complete tasks autonomously and a passion for improving patient care through innovative technology solutions. The candidate should proactively recognize concerns/issues as safety and quality issues arise and able to address issues effectively. Expectation will be to work towards becoming a subject matter expert at the application level.

STRONGLY PREFERRED:

• Informatics Experience preferred 2-3 years
• 3-5 yrs Clinical experience – ideally with ambulatory expertise

 REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree required, RN preferred.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as a health care professional (e.g., Registered Nurse with an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license, Dietitian, Social Worker, or Clinical Psychologist, or other).
• 3-5 years of clinical experience required.
• Previous experience in data systems is required.
• Informatics related certification, or willingness to obtain certification within one year of employment.
