You will help the team to prioritize, tackle obstacles and navigate a broad stakeholder landscape in our Billund (KOM) Moulding Production. More specifically, you will: </p><ul><li><p>Lead, motivate and develop a team of eight Production Planners by setting targets and directions, while ensuring that they handle tasks within the agreed frames</p></li><li><p>Secure and follow up on critical issues with local manufacturing management to secure component availability in a global perspective and minimize costs</p></li><li><p>Represent the Planning department in the daily Billund Factory Huddle</p></li><li><p>Join the Global Component Planning Extended Leadership Team and Billund Moulding Manager Team owning and driving the planning agenda</p></li><li><p>Secure adherence to global production planning processes and continued <span>alignment/improvements</span> with global planning stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely on a tactical level with global teams and Component Planning Support Team</p></li><li><p>Drive Learning & Development (L&D) in the team with a curiosity mindset to also enhance the digital agenda</p></li><li><p>Advocate and secure process ownership and alignment to drive efficiency and standardization</p></li><li><p>Execute governance and control: developing, supervising and communicating critical business performance indicators; identifying risks and driving corrective action to deliver business targets</p></li></ul><h1><br/><b>Play your part in our team succeeding</b></h1><p>KOM Component Planning department consists of 20 skilled and dedicated colleagues, hereof a smaller team of eight Production Planners, which you will be leading daily.</p><p></p><p>The main purpose of the department is to ensure that the LEGO Bricks are available for our packing sites at the right time and in the most cost-efficient way. We do this by securing availability of raw material and storage space, efficient capacity utilization on moulds and machines, and suitable distribution of the elements produced.</p><p></p><p>The Production Planners support this by making the best possible scheduling of production orders and in collaboration with the Billund Factory making sure that production related issues are continuously addressed and solved to secure timely delivery of components.</p><p></p><h1><b>Do you have what it takes?</b></h1><p>The ideal candidate comes with minimum a BSc degree within Supply Chain, Operations Management or equivalent. You bring 5+ years of experience with strong functional process expertise driving complex projects/processes within Supply Chain Planning, or you bring minimum 2 years of leadership experience within Supply Chain <span>Planning. Knowledge</span> and experience from LEGO® Supply Chain will be an advantage. In addition, you <span>have: </span></p><ul><li><p>Strong drive and motivation for leading, coaching and supporting the team members </p></li><li><p>Strong analytical skills enabling to understand and navigate within the Production Planning complexity, workflows and challenges</p></li><li><p>Proven abilities to structure, coordinate and make key decisions when needed </p></li><li><p>Learning mindset and core ability to spot areas for improvements </p></li><li><p>Great collaboration and stakeholder management skills</p></li><li><p>Empathic team player that can see the benefits of “succeeding” individually and together</p></li><li><p><span>Proficiency in English and Danish both written and verbal</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
