Senior IMS Engineer

<h2><b>What you’ll do</b></h2> <p>As a Sr. IMS Engineer you will be focused on short term and long range network planning, solution design and harmonization and agile engineering on implementation activities and operational lifecycle management. The engineer in this area will cooperate in cross-group activities and strongly collaborate with the rest of the Network Engineering departments acting as a subject matter expert for TAS/MRF/Ut-Proxy and engineering IMS end-to-end solutions. Will also collaborate with other groups such as Group Strategy, Group and Market Commercial Business Units, other Technology Departments such as IT and Network Operations and can act as network solution authority and engineering delivery manager in projects and major deployments around technical or commercial initiatives. </p> <p>•    Support the evolution the IMS Core Network towards all IP, Cloud Native, digital automation and innovative technology adoption. <br/> •    Lead the Solution Design during the feasibility analysis and High/Low Level Design during the implementation phase, for technical solutions impacting the IMS platforms in scope<br/> •    Lead the TAS/MRF/Ut-Proxy and wider IMS network planning and SW engineering, with strong focus on meeting targets for traffic growth and quality/performance KPIs, while ensuring the best network quality, customer experience excellence, operational simplicity and efficiency on resources<br/> •    Support the harmonization and consolidation on design, planning and deployment activities across the different markets and ensure consistent introduction and evolution of new technologies<br/> •    Work with the Strategy on the evolution and roadmap of the IMS software applications, influencing it to consider real-life use of the software, to address its limitations, as well as to make it better suited to the needs of the company in terms of cost, efficiency, reliability, scalability, ease of operation, etc.</p> <h2><b>Who you are</b></h2> <p>•    Degree in Electrical or Electronic &amp; telecommunications Engineering or Computer Science<br/> •    At least 3 of working experience in the field of telecommunications technology around deployment and evolution of telecommunications systems and products/services<br/> •    Knowledge of Voice and Data signalling topology, interfaces and protocols for mobile/fixed networking in parallel with high eligibility on working with network tracing tools<br/> •    Nice to have experience in agile way of working (preferably using SAFe), the Lean-Agile mindset and agile transformation <br/> •    Ability to work in an international framework across multi-functional and multi-cultural boundaries to deliver results and improve performance <br/> •    Ability to adapt and manage efficiently changes <br/> •    Deep knowledge of core network architectures and protocols, with specific reference to the IMS core based networking and solutions<br/> •    Several years of experience in planning, design, engineering and testing within a mobile or fixed network area of a telecom operator<br/> •     English skills:  Very Good (technical) written and spoken </p> <h2><b>Not a perfect fit?</b></h2> <p>Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
