Senior Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated logistics professional to join our Porto-based team and support our global logistics operations. This role offers the opportunity to work across continents, optimize shipping and warehouse flows, and ensure smooth coordination with our manufacturing partners and logistics providers worldwide. You’ll be part of a purpose-driven company, delivering innovation and sustainability through smart logistics.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure on-time, cost-efficient inbound and outbound transportation across multiple countries and partners.
• Manage international shipments, including Incoterms, customs documentation, and coordination with freight forwarders.
• Coordinate warehousing activities, inventory movements, and internal transfers.
• Operate and improve logistics workflows in ERP (stock movements, shipping modules, delivery automation).
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Customer Service, and Finance teams to guarantee smooth order-to-delivery processes.
• Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs: lead times, shipping costs, delays, and service levels.
• Ensure full compliance with trade regulations, REACH, ADR, and documentation standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase logistics efficiency, visibility, and sustainability.
• Support logistics budgeting and cost control initiatives.
• Act as a point of contact for external logistics partners (carriers, customs brokers, 3PLs) and internal stakeholders.

You bring

• 5–7 years of experience in international logistics or transportation coordination.
• A university degree in Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience with ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs processes, warehouse flows and trade documentation.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, analysis), Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Bonus: Experience working with logistics operations in Asia or managing Asian suppliers.
