You will be part of a flexible, family friendly organization that cares about its people just as it cares about the environment.<br/> </p><p>Based at least 3 days a week on-site and reporting to a Senior HR Director in the US, the <b>Senior HR Manager</b> is responsible for the short and long-term strategic leadership of all aspects of HR within a vibrant <span>operations/manufacturing</span> function for approx. 550 associates.<br/> </p><p>The jobholder will lead a local HR team of 4 business partners/generalists (and collaborate with our HR Service Centre), advise, counsel, and partner site leadership on all aspects of human resources, challenge the status quo, champion new initiatives, be a catalyst of change, and continuously develop talent and drive improved performance.<br/> </p><p><b>In this role, a typical day will look like:</b> </p><ul><li><p>Partner with site leadership and Works Council to challenge the status quo and champion new initiatives within assigned client groups and within HR, acting as a catalyst of change and stimulating others to change, in such a way that the organization continuously develops towards better performance</p></li><li><p>Lead a focused team of 4 HR business partners/generalists</p></li><li><p>Support and/or lead the identification of opportunities for Standard Work definition and process enhancement</p></li><li><p>Coordinate <span>involuntary/voluntary</span> exit logistics (performing timely exit interviews, <span>recording/synthesizing</span> retention data, and generating severance packages, where applicable)</p></li><li><p>Partner with HR Service Center to enter data inputs in a timely manner in Workday for new, existing, and exiting associates. Create, maintain, and guarantee compliance of personnel files &amp; systems</p></li><li><p>Additional tasks can encompass: Performance Management, Talent Development, rolling out global HR projects etc… <br/> </p></li></ul><p><b>The essential requirements of the job include:</b> </p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with 8+ years of broad HR experience, including HR team leadership in MNC and <span>manufacturing/operational</span> environments</p></li><li><p>Resilient, tenacious, and proactive problem solver who drives positive change and transforms culture, helping long-established businesses deliver great results through the adoption of strategic HR initiatives    </p></li><li><p>Flexible, change-oriented an international perspective and sensitivity to influence leadership and help associates embrace positive change</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives, processes, or projects and navigating dispersed stakeholder groups with disparate interests</p></li><li><p>Experience consulting, coaching, and influencing leaders and managing expectations</p></li><li><p>Inspirational leader who develops, mentors and motivates their team</p></li><li><p>Strong executive presence, communication skills (fluent German &amp; proficient English), emotional intelligence, collaboration and partnering skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization</p></li><li><p>Experience working with a Works Council and sound knowledge of labour law</p></li></ul><p><br/><b>About Hach </b><br/> </p><p>Motivated by the highest possible stakes of climate change and global health, we’re working together within a rapidly digitizing industry to find innovative technologies that guarantee the safety of our water and our environment.  More about us: <a href="https://www.hach.com/about-us" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span>https://www.hach.com/about-us</span>
