The Opportunity
 

“We are seeking a dynamic Accounts Payable Accountant to oversee our fixed asset accounting, pre-paid assets, and finance projects. The ideal candidate will be detailed orientated with excellent communication.” – Vice President, Finance.

What You’ll Contribute

  • Daily processing of fixed asset additions, adjustments, and retirements for Americas region.
  • End-of-month reconciliation and closing asset books.
  • Preparing asset roll forwards.
  • Overlooking global asset book entries and working with accounting teams in EMEA and APAC.
  • Preparing quarterly fluctuation analysis in fixed asset G/L accounts.
  • Running asset tax books and collaborating with our internal Tax Department.
  • Processing prepaid expenses and setting up monthly amortization.
  • Assisting with auditing expense reports.
  • Assisting with administrating the corporate credit card program.
  • Processing payments for Canada, APAC, and other regions, as necessary.
  • Clearing intercompany invoices.
  • Taking on special projects as needed.

What We’re Seeking

  • Degree in Accounting.
  • Candidates with experience in Oracle Applications are preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Effective communication and analytical skills, meticulous and willing to learn. Collaboration with various finance teams, and other Stakeholders required.
  • Experience in Fixed Assets and/or Payables a plus.

  • The targeted base pay range for this role is: $56,000 to $88,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
