The Sr. PD Program Manager PMO position has the primary responsibility, as a PMO Core/Extended team member, to oversee and manage the operational aspects of new product development projects and functional initiatives within the Structural Heart and Aortic PMO group.

This role will require less than 20% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.
In general, the following responsibilities apply but is not limited to the following:
- As a PMO core/extended team member in a cross functional core team, oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing new product development projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Works closely with the Core Team Leader, Cross functional core team members, and extended team members to deliver new products through the different phases of the PDP lifecycle.
- Manage new product development projects through effective schedule development, schedule management, risk management, resource management, and deployment of PM methodologies.
- Drive the overall project management infrastructure (metrics, reporting, administration, business reviews etc.) of NPD projects and initiatives following design control process.
- Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
- Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
- Participate in implementing best practice tools and techniques in project management within NPD projects and optimization of the Product Development Process (PDP)
- Work with Core Team Members and the DRM group to ensure integration of tools and methodologies to drive predictability in the innovation of new product portfolio.

- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
•B.S. in engineering or science discipline.
• MBA or advanced degree.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
• DRM, DFSS, or Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt
• 10+ years’ experience working in medical device (highly regulated) environment.
• 5+ years’ experience working in one or more of the following functional areas: Engineering, Clinical Research, Regulatory, Marketing, Operations, and/or Quality.
• 5+ years of Medical Device Product Development experience.
• Experience with business systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, and Product Data Management (Agile).
• Demonstrated strong business acumen and planning.
• 5+ years’ experience managing projects.
• Demonstrated excellent downward, lateral, and upward communication skills (oral/presentation and written).
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated high degree of initiative and influence management skills.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading projects to completion.
