Operations Training & Development Manager

As the Operations Training & Development Manager job in North Kansas City, MO at Garney Construction you will implement the salary operations training and development strategy and tactics to ensure employees are provided access to personal, professional, and leadership training and development. The operations training and development manager will partner with operations leadership, managers, and supervisors to identify needs and gaps and provide employees access to resources, training, and development opportunities needed to grow and achieve their full potential.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Implement salary operations training and development strategy and tactics
• Develop, review, and analyze reports; identify key metrics and trends and share with stakeholders
• Partner with operations leaders, managers, and supervisors
• Define training and development needs at various stages within career and build system to support
• Identify development needs and gaps of teams and individuals and create an intervention plan
• Identify course, class, or workshop that achieves the desired training and development goals
• Support regional and jobsite-level training and development
• Oversee the design and implementation of programs, courses, classes, and workshops
• Work with subject matter experts to develop training and development content
• Audit programs, courses, classes, and workshops to ensure quality over time
• Facilitate programs, courses, classes, and workshops

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in training and development field (5+ years)
• Degree related to education, training and development, human resources, or communication
• Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)
• Results oriented
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Time and attention management skills
