A Research Technician position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Fanwei Kong (Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Washington University) starting on January 3, 2025.Responsible for assisting with laboratory duties in a research setting.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Contributes to the development of machine learning algorithms for medical image analysis and computational modeling.
Implements existing machine learning algorithms as baseline methods for comparative analysis.
Dataset Curation: Acquires medical imaging data and clinical measurements from collaborators, and assists with data labeling and organization for machine learning applications.
Assists in the documentation and maintenance of computer codes.
Performs other duties as assigned.

$16.92 - $26.44 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
