Senior Structural Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d)

<p><span><span><b>TASKS:</b></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span>General description: FEM calculation of different structures to support the design of the mechanical components and tooling on multi-megawatt platform. </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Simulation and calculation for the further development, design and verification of steel construction and mechanical components of wind turbines.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Close cooperation and regular exchange with other development and specialist departments, component manufacturers and certification.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Development of new development concepts in compliance with valid standards and regulations and their interpretation regulations as well as technology transfer to the development departments.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Development of structural components taking into account all phases of the life cycle (end to end) and support for root cause determination of field topics. </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Development and documentation of calculation methods for the continuous improvement of the team.</span></span></li> </ul> <p><span><span><b>PROFILE:</b></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span>Degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical). </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Complementary Training: Mandatory calculation by finite element method. </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Excellent knowledge of analytics / statics / dynamics and reliable abstraction of physical operating principles.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Sound knowledge and experience in the design of steel construction and mechanical engineering components, considering valid standards and regulations for wind turbines, especially EUROCODE.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Knowledge of fatigue analysis methods and structure dynamics.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Advanced programming and development of analysis tools (MathCad, Matlab, Python).</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Flexibility and dynamism in the execution of tasks. Ability to work as a team and transverse communication. </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Optionally desirable programming competencies.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Languages/Level: English.
