The Role:
Entegris Site in Bedford, MA is seeking for Production Operations Manager to join our Entegris Specialty Coating team.
The Production Operations Manager will lead a fast-paced, high-energy, and professionally rewarding environment while driving the organization towards a continuously improving and operationally mature culture. In this role you be primarily be focusing on improving material flow, develop tier structure for better shift to shift passdown, improve efficiency , drive 6S, lead safety investigation to achieve Operational excellence.
What You’ll Do:
Managing the production activities associated with Entegris’ Specialty Coatings and Electrostatic Chucks businesses.
Accountability for the safety, quality, cost, throughput, and on-time shipment of critical products for the demanding semiconductor industry.
Translating manufacturing strategies into operational objectives, goals, and metrics to drive performance improvements in the areas of EHS, quality, on-time delivery, and cost to enable the profitable growth of the businesses. Contributing to the strategic direction of the business and participate in its execution.
Managing the training program for manufacturing personnel in the operation of new and existing equipment and process. Ensuring and maintaining adequate cross-training and contingency planning for operations personnel and equipment. Holding personnel accountable to established processes and procedures.
Coordinating production activities with maintenance, repairs, and development requirements in order to maintain targeted production levels and commercial requirements.
Coordinating and aligning with internal and external stakeholders on critical operational and supply chain requirements.
Partnering with Research & Development and New Product Introduction teams in bringing new products and processes to pilot and high-volume manufacturing states.
Leading and driving continuous improvement for all facets of operations, including particular focus on:
Lean and Six Sigma manufacturing principles
Statistical Process Controls and enhanced manufacturing capabilities
Optimizing cost structure and performance
Reliability improvements
Systems Automation and Ergonomic improvements
What We Seek:
Must be strong leader, self motivated and very good communicator.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or another Engineering discipline.
10+ years manufacturing or operations experience with continuously increasing responsibility and oversight.
2-5 years’ experience with management and development of manufacturing and operations personnel.
Excellent communication, planning, organization, and leadership skills.
Flexibility to adapt to varying work environments, work force, and customers’ needs.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectiv
