JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Pennsylvania State University Career Services is looking for a Program Coordinator to join their team.
The Program Coordinator will lead the development and implementation of Career Services’ programs and workshops, both in person and online, including implementing a University-wide career readiness program. The position will also lead the development and implementation of Career Services’ Impact Career Fair and Small Business & Start-Up Career Fair.
The Program Coordinator will supervise a cohort of 6 graduate-level workshop interns responsible for delivering Career Services’ workshops. The position will create and provide ongoing training and materials, continually assess the intern program, and use innovative tools and techniques to meet the engagement needs of today’s students.
The Program Coordinator will manage all processes related to career programs and workshops, including but not limited to fulfilling workshop requests and staffing programs. This position will lead and/or serve on various committees. The Program Coordinator will also assist with the delivery of Career Services’ major events, recruitment efforts, and drop-in sessions, holding 1-2 drop-in shifts per week. This position will supervise a full-time Program Assistant, a part-time Program Graduate Assistant, and 6 part-time, graduate-level workshop interns.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
